The following is a list of tasks performed during an annual service for a Reverse Cycle Ducted Air Conditioner and a wall mounted split system air conditioner. If a fault is detected during the service that cannot be rectified without the use of parts the client will be notified and a separate quotation will be supplied.

Tasks performed during an annual service of a Wall Mounted Split System Air Conditioner
- Clean condensate drain and check for correct operation, report any problems
- Clean indoor unit coil
- Clean outdoor unit coil.
- Tighten all electrical terminals on indoor and outdoor unit.
- Check amp draw of compressor, report any problems
- Clean filters and check integrity of filter media, report any problems.
- Clean indoor unit.
- Clean outdoor unit.
- Leak test refrigeration circuit, report any leaks if found.
- Check temperature difference between return air and supply air.
- Check unit for correct operation, report any problems
- Check outdoor unit is secure and level, adjust if required and report any problems.
- Prune any foliage that may be causing problems to the operation and air flow of outdoor unit only after approval from the client.
- Check contactor and overload if applicable for wear and correct operation, tighten terminals, adjust if required and report any problems.
- Check for correct operation of HP (High Pressure) and LP (Low Pressure) controls, adjust if required and report any problems.
- If client or tenant requires - full demonstration of the operation of the unit.
- Full service report on completion of maintenance to the client.

- Leak test refrigeration circuit, report any leaks if found.
- Check temperature difference between return air and supply air, report any problems.
- Check unit for correct operation, report any problems
- Prune any foliage that may be causing problems to the operation and air flow of outdoor unit only after approval from the client.
- Check for correct operation of HP (High Pressure) and LP (Low Pressure) controls, adjust if required and report any problems.
- Check contactor’s and overload for wear and correct operation, tighten terminals and report any problems.
- Check temperatures of all zones and condition, adjust if required report ant problems.
- Clean all registers and air diffusers.
- Check all duct actuators if applicable report any problems.
- Check air balancing and air flows adjust if required report any problems.
- Check parameters of controls adjust if required program timer if requested and applicable. Report any problems
- Check calibration of temperature thermostat, report any problems.
- Check outdoor unit is secure and level, adjust if required and report any problems.
- If customer requires - full demonstration of the operation of the unit.
- Full service report on completion of service to the client.
